Questions, answered plainly.
Booking, payment, cancellations, and everything else about traveling with us — the practical answers, not the fine print.
Booking
Pick a tour or package and open its details page, then walk through the five-step booking flow — dates and travelers, departure, any add-ons, payment, and a final review. You'll get a confirmation on screen and by email the moment it's done. If you'd rather talk it through first, message a trip designer from the Contact page and we'll build the booking with you.
No — the price you see covers everything once you land in Egypt: internal transport, guides, entry fees, and the accommodation or cruise listed. International flights to Cairo (or Luxor, for some itineraries) are booked separately, so you can use points, preferred airlines, or your own timing. We're happy to recommend routings if you ask.
Yes, for parties of six or more traveling together on the same itinerary. Group pricing isn't shown on the site — message us with your dates and party size and a trip designer will send a custom quote, usually within a few hours.
In most cases, yes, if the new departure has spots available and you ask more than 14 days before your original date — we'll move your booking with no rebooking fee. Inside 14 days, changes are handled case by case; contact us and we'll do what we can.
Payment
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through the booking flow's secure checkout. For group or custom bookings arranged directly with a trip designer, we can also arrange a bank transfer.
Not for journeys booked more than 60 days out — a 25% deposit secures your spot, with the balance due 45 days before departure. We'll email you a reminder before it's charged. Bookings made inside that 60-day window are paid in full at checkout.
Yes — the price shown is per person, all-inclusive of what the itinerary lists, no surprise resort fees or booking charges added at checkout. The only things layered on top are genuinely optional: add-ons you actively choose in step three of booking, gratuities, and personal spending.
Cancellations & refunds
Cancel more than 30 days before departure and you'll get a full refund minus a small processing fee. Between 30 and 14 days out, you're refunded 50%. Inside 14 days, bookings are non-refundable, since guides, permits, and cruise cabins are already committed on your behalf by then.
We process approved refunds within 3 business days of your cancellation request. From there it's your bank's timeline — typically 5 to 10 business days to show up on the original card.
We strongly recommend it, and it isn't included by default. Insurance covers the things our cancellation policy can't — a medical emergency, a missed connecting flight, a family situation back home. Buy it when you book, not the week before you fly; most policies won't cover a reason that already existed when you purchased it.
General
Solo travelers are common on our journeys, not the exception — most itineraries run with a mixed group, and a solo traveler simply joins it. Some sailings apply a single supplement for a private cabin; it's shown clearly before you pay, never buried at checkout.
It depends on the itinerary, and each tour's overview lists a pace (easygoing, moderate, or active) along with typical daily walking. Temple visits generally involve uneven ancient stone and some sun exposure; desert and diving add-ons ask more of you. If you have specific mobility needs, tell a trip designer before booking and we'll flag anything that won't work.
The Contact page has a form, our WhatsApp number, and a direct email — all go to a trip designer based in Cairo, not a call center, and you'll usually hear back within a few hours during Egypt business hours.
